For a new (2006) MasterCraft sweatshirt (hooded)

Drawing upon my fasination with bad movies and racing answer this:

1) What is "slick as a button" and will cause you to "slip and slide and slam your ass in the wall"?

2) What would "suprise me" about ESPN?

3) When building a new race car you should: a) Shape it like a bullet, b) Give it an extra big oil pan for 30 or 40 more horsepower, c) Give it an extra long fuel line to hold an extra gallon of gas, or d) All the above

You must be a registered member to play, first one with all correct answers wins.

Obviously "Days of Thunder"

#1

Harry Hogge: “watch out for the tunnel turn, when it gets hot it’s as slick as a button”

#2 (per Cary K.)

Harry Hogge: What do you know about stock car racing?

Cole Trickle: Well... watched it on television, of course.

Harry Hogge: You've seen it on television?!

Cole Trickle: ESPN. The coverage is excellent, you'd be surprised at how much you can pick up.

Harry Hogge: I'm sure I would.

#3 (per Cary K.)

Harry Hogge: I'm gonna give you an engine low to the ground... extra thick oil pan to cut the wind from underneath you. It'll give you thirty or forty more horsepower. I'm gonna give you a fuel line that'll hold an extra gallon of gas. I'm gonna shave half an inch off you and shape you like a bullet. I'll get you primed, painted and weighed, and you'll be ready to go out on that racetrack. Hear me? You're gonna be perfect.

Cary...you got them all but the first one.  It's not about tires.  Something "tricky"...hint hint...wrong part of the movie!

Maybe it is too obvious that you are pulling stuff from Days of Thunder?

1. Talking about burning up the "tars" (Tires).  Partial quote:

Harry Hogge:  When you were racing Indy cars, the tires were twice as wide and the car weighed half as much. Now it's the opposite.  You're burning them up. They melt and get greasy.  You slip and slide and you're out of control. Let's go!  His way, my way. I was six seconds faster

2. Harry Hogge: What do you know about stock car racing?

Cole Trickle: Well... watched it on television, of course.

Harry Hogge: You've seen it on television?!

Cole Trickle: ESPN. The coverage is excellent, you'd be surprised at how much you can pick up.
